Community Events & Outreach

Bowie First Southern Baptist Church is excited to host several community events throughout the year. These gatherings are organized by our church and will take place at the historic Methodist Church building here in Bowie, which provides a larger courtyard and space for families and visitors.

       Veteran's Memorial Luncheon

   Date: September 22, 2026

   Held at Mission Valley

🎃Autumnween Festival

Date: Saturday October 24, 2026

Held at the Mission Valley courtyard

A safe, family‑friendly A cross between an Autumn Festival and Halloween.  There will be an assortment of games and activities for everyone. Cosutmes are welcome but not required. Thhis will be a free event but there will be a bake sale.

Drop‑off available at Bowie First Southern Baptist Church

We proudly participate in the Toys for Tots program. New, unwrapped toys can be donated during Sunday services or special collection days. All donations stay within our region to support local families.

🦃 Community Thanksgiving Dinner

A warm, home‑style Thanksgiving meal open to the entire community. Perfect for anyone spending the holiday alone, traveling, or simply wanting to share a meal with neighbors.
